Section of A14 eastbound near Ipswich reopens after crash but delays still expected

A section of the A14 near Ipswich which had closed due to a crash has now reopened, although the vehicles involved still need to be recovered.

Officials from Highways England said the A14 was closed eastbound between Junction 57 (Nacton Interchange) and Junction 58 (Levington Interchange) due to the collision.

Just before 5pm, they said it had reopened but one of the lanes was still closed while the vehicles involved are recovered.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys as residual delays remain in the area.
