Driver in serious condition after car overturns in Cliff Road, Ipswich, crash

A man is in a serious condition after a car overturned in a crash in Ipswich yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Cliff Road following reports of a collision involving a car and a lorry at 5.50pm.
Paramedics were joined by an air ambulance, with the driver of the car – a man in his 60s – taken by ground ambulance to Norfolk & Norwich Hospital.
He remains there in a serious condition, a Suffolk Police spokesman said.
Cliff Road reopened at 12.50am.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the crash.
