Ed Sheeran announces world tour dates for next year with tickets going on sale next week
Suffolk sensation Ed Sheeran has announced the dates of the first leg of his world tour, with UK locations in Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff.
The Framlingham singer, who's new album = (equals) is set to be released on October 29, posted to social media this morning confirming the dates of his tour.
He said the announcement was "basically the start of the next 3 years of my life" and that he is "excited to be back at it."
The tour will see Ed visit Ireland, Wales, England and Scotland as well as Amsterdam, Brussells, France and several other European countries.
This leg of the tour will begin on Thursday, April 28 and end on Friday, September 25.
Ed has not announced, however, where he will be playing in future legs of the tour, or whether he will be visiting Portman Road in Ipswich, where he sponsors Ipswich Town football team.
Ed Sheeran currently dominates the charts, with his single Bad Habits taking first place since its release and his latest single Shivers amassing over 19 million streams on Youtube since last friday.
