Suffolk superstar Ed Sheeran is set to swap his guitar for a book as he becomes the latest celebrity to read a CBeebies Bedtime Story.

The 30 year old will read I Talk Like a River by Jordan Scott and Sydney Smith. The moving book tells the story of a boy with a stutter, whose father helps him by explaining that the flow of his words is like a river.

"Growing up, I had a stutter like the boy in I Talk Like a River, so I'm delighted to be reading this story for CBeebies Bedtime Stories, especially as I'm a new dad myself," he said.

"I hope the story helps inspire and support other children who stutter."

His episode will be broadcast on the children's channel on November 5, and he follows other musicians Dolly Parton, George Ezra, Robbie Williams, Elton John and Mark Ronson, as well as actors Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddleston and Orlando Bloom.

The broadcast will come after his latest album, = (Equals) is released. The record follows his previous albums + (Plus), x (Multiply) and ÷ (Divide).

It will feature two number one singles, Bad Habits and Shivers, the later of which was knocked off the UK Number One chart spot by Sir Elton and Dua Lipa last week with their collaboration Cold Heart (Pnau Remix).
