Ed Sheeran fans urged to be wary of scammers when buying tickets ahead of Portman Road, Ipswich, shows

Fans eager to see Ed Sheeran at Portman Road later this year are urged to be vigilant and remain wary of scammers.

Both the Suffolk superstar’s promoters and Suffolk Trading Standards have issued warnings to those looking to buy tickets for Ed’s latest tour.

Ed will perform at Ipswich Town’s home stadium from July 11 to 13.

Fans looking to buy tickets – for which a pre-sale went live earlier today – should be cautious and only buy from approved sellers.

For the 2025 tour, only mobile tickets will be available and once tickets are purchased, an email will confirm your purchase.

Only five approved vendors will sell tickets.

These are Ticketmaster, Eventim, Gigantic, Myticket and Seetickets.

Full details can be found here.

General sale of tickets kicks off on Friday.

Standing tickets will cost £95 and range from £125 to £45 for the top tier.

Concert-goers will only be able to buy six tickets at any one time.
