Ed Sheeran parties with Ipswich Town players as they celebrate promotion to the Premier League

Ed Sheeran was out partying with the Ipswich Town squad last night, celebrating the team’s promotion to the Premier League.

In a video posted on his Instagram, Sheeran could be seen leading the squad in a chant about their promotion push after they had sung his hit Shape Of You together.

The caption added he was with defender Luke Woolfenden and midfielder Massimo Luongo at the time and they ‘wanted a tag’.

Sheeran was not at the defining game this weekend as he was away in the US, but did extend his sponsorship with the Portman Road outfit.

He also called the team after the game to congratulate them on the feat.
