Plans to install electric vehicle charging ports in Budgens in Great Blakenham, near Ipswich

Electric vehicle charging points could be installed outside a village shop.

InstaVolt is seeking permission from Mid Suffolk District Council to install four 160 kW points outside the Budgens, in Moses Walk, Great Blakenham.

If approved, the points would be installed at the north east side of the car park.

CCTV would also be installed to monitor the site, planning documents said.

The proposals will go before planners soon.
