Ipswich drumming sensation, Nandi Bushell, has achieved the seemingly impossible dream shared by many young musicians and performed on stage alongside the Foo Fighters.

The 11-year-old, who was introduced to frontman Dave Grohl when they collaborated on a song in November 2020, has amassed over 799,000 followers on Instagram sharing photos and videos of herself practising her impressive drum skills.

Grohl invited Nandi to join the Foo Fighters on stage last year, and the pair met in person at the Forum in Los Angeles yesterday.

Nandi took the opportunity to jam live on stage with the band, playing one of their most famous songs, Everlong, in front of the 17,500-strong audience.

Her dad, John Bushell, filmed her performance backstage in a video she shared to her Instagram. She said: "It was epic!!! Wow!!! What an incredible night!"

The rising star has previously met the likes of Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and been interviewed on famous talk show, Ellen.
