Emergency services rescue woman from Decoy Pond, off Factory Lane, Cattawade

Emergency services rescued a woman from a pond last night.

Police and the fire and ambulance services were called to concerns for the safety of a woman who had fallen into Decoy Pond, off Factory Lane, Cattawade, near Brantham, at around 7.45pm.

Personnel removed the woman from the water.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said that an ambulance and ambulance officer vehicle were sent to the scene and, once rescued, the woman was taken to hospital for further assessment.
