Fircroft Road, Ipswich, shop fire sees three fire engines attend

Firefighters battled a blaze at a fish and chip shop in Ipswich this afternoon.

Emergency services were alerted to Fircroft Road at 4.22pm.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said three engines are working to dampen the flames.

No casualties have been reported.

Police were also at the scene.

The incident was dealt with by 5.24pm.
