Great Blakenham's Gipping Road clear as woman rescued from car after crash with lorry

A woman has been freed from a car after a crash with a lorry in a Suffolk village this morning.

Emergency services were called to Gipping Road in Great Blakenham at about 10.30am.

A fire service spokesman said firefighters rescued a woman who was trapped in a car following the collision.

The woman suffered minor injuries, a police spokesman said.

They added the road was cleared just before midday.
