A flood warning has been issued for parts of Suffolk.
Flooding along the Suffolk and Essex coast, from Felixstowe to Clacton, including Ipswich, is likely between 11.30am to 1.30pm today.
The warning said low-lying roads and footpaths along the estuaries of the River Orwell and River Stour may become waterlogged.
The flood gates at Felixstowe seafront will be closed while the Environment Agency assesses the situation.
The waterfront at Pin Mill, and The Strand at Wherstead under the Orwell Bridge may be flooded and water may be on the quay at Mistley.
It is also expected that the tide this evening will also see a flood alert, the Environment Agency said.
