Beatbox45 gym in Ipswich handed prohibition notice over 'dangerous' structure

A gym in Ipswich has been told to stop using a 'dangerous' structure that had been put up at the premises after receiving a prohibition notice today.

Officials at Ipswich Borough Council issued the notice with immediate effect over the structure at Beatbox45 gym in Boss Hall Road, Whitehouse.

Alasdair Ross, portfolio holder for community protection at the council, said: “We have taken immediate action under Health and Safety legislation to stop the use of this dangerous structure by this gym.

"Let me make it clear to those who think they can get away with putting up or using such insecure constructions.

"We will not allow residents to be endangered and we will take immediate action.”
