Strong winds are set to batter Suffolk today, which could cause disruption.
The Met Office has predicted that winds in excess of 40 mph – and up to 55 mph – could be seen across the county as it issued a yellow weather warning.
The alert is in place for the entire county.
A spokesman for the Met Office said the winds could cause large waves and spray affecting coastal communities and that delays in road, rail, air and ferry transport were likely.
There coukld be short-term power cuts and delays along bridges and for heavy vehicles.
The warning is in place until 10pm.
