Jimmy and Shivi’s Farmhouse Breakfast to launch on ITV from Jimmy’s Farm in Wherstead, near Ipswich

A new breakfast show on ITV is launching this weekend from a popular Suffolk farm.

Jimmy and Shivi's Farmhouse Breakfast, starring Jimmy Doherty and Shivi Ramoutar, will debut on Sunday at 8.25am on ITV1 broadcasting from a barn at Jimmy’s Farm in Wherstead, near Ipswich.

The show will consist of 11 episodes where the foodie duo will try out recipes, chat to guests and meet a variety of animals – from pigs, cows and chickens to the more exotic inhabitants of the wildlife park such as polar bears, ring-tailed lemurs and capybaras.

Jimmy, 49, said: “There is so much packed into the show it really has something for everyone.

“From mouth-watering recipes, great cocktails, fantastic guests and a whole host of things people can get involved with from beekeeping to planting your own veg garden, plus a whole host of animal characters that call our Farmer Wildlife Park home.

“I think this show is going to be fantastic family viewing no matter what your age is.

“A little bit of country sunshine on a Sunday morning with a cup of tea in your hand. What’s not to love?”

This show marks the first collaboration between Jimmy and TV chef Shivi who has previously appeared on shows like Oti Mabuse’s Breakfast Show, Garraway’s Good Stuff and Martin and Roman’s Weekend Best.

Shivi, 40, who is based in London, said: “Being put in the middle of woodlands or in certain situations has put me out of my comfort zone, but I love to relish these new exciting adventures.

“I’m learning so much about my capabilities and just a different way of life.

“It makes me think about moving out to the countryside… almost.”

It will showcase a range of recipes that the duo hopes will inspire viewers to get creative in their own kitchens.

The show will also feature guests including Dick and Dom, Danny Wallace, Baga Chipz and Jenny Ryan, who is The Vixen on The Chase.
