A14 near Ipswich reopens between junction 55 and junction 53 following police led incident

Emergency services, including the air ambulance, responded to ‘police led incident’ on the A14 earlier this morning.
National Highways have confirmed the key Suffolk route has fully reopened, after it was closed at 6.51am.
The A14 was closed near Ipswich between junction 55 and junction 53.
Updating drivers, while the road was closed, National Highways said the emergency services were ‘working at the scene’.
The A14 reopened in both directions at 8.24am.
National Highways said: “The A14 has reopened in both directions following the conclusion of a police led incident.”
Traffic is reported to be clearing well in the area.
