Ipswich thefts from cars in Victoria Street, Station Street and Highfield Road lead to police urging motorists to remove items
Police are urging drivers to remove belongings from their cars after a string of thefts in Ipswich.
Three thefts from cars have been reported to Suffolk Police since the weekend, which has seen hundreds of pounds in items taken.
On Saturday, someone broke into a car parked in Victoria Street by pushing the window down.
A work bag, medication and a driving licence were removed at some point between 1am and 7am.
Overnight between 8.45pm on Sunday and 10.30am on Monday, a thief gained entry to a car in Station Street, stealing a bag, documentation and a wallet containing bank cards and cash.
Finally, a laptop was taken from a car in Highfield Road at 3.30am today.
