Fishing equipment stolen from property in Salisbury Road, Ipswich

A large quantity of fishing equipment has been stolen from a property in Suffolk.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place at an address in Salisbury Road, Ipswich.

Between 8am on Sunday, May 15 and 10pm on Tuesday, May 17, thieves entered a garden shed and stole a quantity of fishing equipment.

Among the items were two Hutchindon fishing rods, two Penn Afinity reels, one Corus baiting pole, one Cygnet lock rod pod and three Sonic SKS alarms.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who believes they have seen the items above, or who may be aware of fishing equipment currently being offered for sale.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Constabulary added: "Police would also like to hear from anyone who believes they may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area of Salisbury Road and Osborne Road during the dates and times indicated."
