A14 near Haughley, towards Stowmarket, sees delays due to broken down vehicle before roadworks

A major carriageway is experiencing delays after a vehicle broke down before some roadworks.

Police were called about the incident on the A14 at junction 47 at 6.28pm, just before roadworks near Elmswell, towards Stowmarket.

Officers attended the scene to remove the vehicle from the carriageway

Tailbacks were reported.

The road was cleared by 7.06pm.
