A14 eastbound between junction 56 and 57 after Orwell Bridge near Ipswich partially closed after lorry breakdown

Part of the A14 in Suffolk is closed this evening and around four miles of traffic is building after a lorry broke down.

One lane of the eastbound road, between junction 56 and junction 57 just after the Orwell Bridge near Ipswich, is blocked.

This comes after a lorry broke down in the lane and is causing an obstruction.

Delays of up to 30 minutes are being reported and National Highways have said there is around four miles of congestion.

Suffolk Police are on the scene.
