Man, 21, charged, after stabbing incident incident on cycle path near Mead Drive, Kesgrave, near Ipswich
A 21-year-old man from the West Midlands has been charged, after another man suffered stab injuries during an incident in Kesgrave.
Officers were called at 9.35am on Thursday, May 1, to reports of a fight involving two men on a cycle path near to Mead Drive.
The victim - a man in his 20s - sustained stab wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment, but has now been discharged.
The suspect was located and arrested in Norwich on Thursday afternoon and was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Yayha Luqmen, of Holyhead Road, Coventry, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Luqmen appeared before Norwich Magistrates’ Court this morning, where he was remanded in custody pending a next hearing an Ipswich Crown Court on June 3
