Daryl Taylor, 33, of Bramford Road, Ipswich, cleared of series of child sex offences at Ipswich Crown Court
A 33-year-old man has been cleared of a series of child sex offences.
At Ipswich Crown Court today, before Judge David Wilson, Daryl Taylor, of Bramford Road, Ipswich, was found not guilty by the jury of two counts of sexual activity with a girl under the age of 15 and four of sexual assault of a girl under 13 by touching.
He denied the six charges.
Earlier in the day, Judge Wilson summed up the evidence the jury had heard across the course of the two-week trial before they retired just before 12pm.
After deliberating for just over two hours and 20 minutes, the jury delivered the not guilty verdict on all counts.
Taylor awaits sentencing for a charge of escaping from custody, which has been set for Friday, March 28.
Judge Wilson thanked the jury for their service across the trial, highlighting their conduct in hearings which they may have found troublesome.
He also thanked them for their service on behalf of Ipswich Crown Court.
Judge Wilson thanked Taylor for his good conduct throughout the trial.
