Ipswich murder accused Logan Burnett appears before Ipswich Crown Court after Courtney Mitchell stabbed to death

A man accused of stabbing a woman to death in Ipswich has appeared in court.

Logan Burnett, 27, of All Saints Road, Ipswich, appeared before Ipswich Crown Court charged with the murder of Courtney Mitchell.

It follows an appearance at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Burnett is accused of stabbing Ms Mitchell, 26, to death in Burrell Road on Tuesday.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 7.15pm

He is charged with two counts of possessing an offensive weapon, namely a knife, plus one count of murder.

Judge Martyn Levett adjourned the case until November 25.
