Man dies in crash at Wissett, near Halesworth

A man in his 50s has died following a serious crash near Halesworth.

The collision happened in Halesworth Road, Wissett, just before 8pm yesterday.

Police said the incident involved a red Honda Civic car and a green New Holland crop sprayer.

Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue, air ambulance and ambulance crew all attended the incident.

The driver of the Honda, a man aged in his 50s, died at the scene.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to get in touch.

They want any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
