Man in 50s dies after crash at crossroads between lorry and car in Barham near Ipswich
A man in his 50s has died following a crash between a lorry and a car at a crossroads in a Suffolk village.
Police were called by the ambulance service just before 4.10pm yesterday to a report of a serious collision in Barham, at the junction of Main Road, Bell’s Cross Road and Clay Lane.
The crash involved a blue Rover and a white Volvo lorry.
The driver from the Rover, a man in his 50s, died at the scene.
The roads were closed while emergency services attended the scene and conducted the initial investigation.
The roads were reopened in the early hours of today.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, including anyone with a dash camera that might have captured the collision or recorded the vehicles beforehand.
