Ipswich: Man assaulted and taken to hospital after suffering wound to back of the head

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was allegedly assaulted in a Suffolk town.
The man was grabbed by the hair from behind by an unknown assailant in Valley Road, Ipswich, at around 10.45am on Monday, June 12 and suffered a wound to the back of his head.
He was then taken to hospital but was able to recover at home.
Officers ask anyone who has images or footage about the incident which could help the inquiry, to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference number 37/33745/23 via the website.
