Men arrested in connection with Ipswich suspicious baby death in Norwich Road rebailed
Two men arrested in connection with the death of a newborn baby in Ipswich have been rebailed.
Officers were called at just after 12.35pm on December 9 to a property in Norwich Road, where the body of a newborn baby had been discovered outside the premises.
Paramedics also attended, but the baby was declared dead a short time later.
Following initial police inquiries that afternoon, officers arrested two men in their 30s and a teenage female, all on suspicion of murder.
On December 11, the two men were released under investigation and were bailed until February 6.
They were rebailed until March 6, a Suffolk Police spokesman said.
The teenager arrested was released under investigation on December 12.
That same day, a Home Office post-mortem examination took place and was inconclusive, with further tests required.
