A14 Ipswich motorcyclist caught travelling at 111mph

A motorcyclist was caught travelling an alleged 41mph over the speed limit on a major Suffolk road.

According to a Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team spokesperson, the rider was speeding at 111mph on the A14 near Ipswich.

This stretch of road is a national speed limit dual carriageway, meaning the limit is 70mph.

In a tweet, the spokesperson urged drivers to slow down and said it is not worth the risk.

They added that the rider was issued a Traffic Offence Report (TOR).
