Ipswich MP Jack Abbott launches Christmas card competition for town’s schoolchildren
A Suffolk MP has launched a Christmas card competition for schoolchildren.
Jack Abbott, MP for Ipswich, has invited all schoolchildren who live or attend school in the town to enter the competition, which launched yesterday.
The winning design will be used on Mr Abbot’s Christmas card and sent to thousands of constituents.
The winner will receive a £40 book voucher from Dial Lane Books and the two runners-up will get £20 each.
Mr Abbott said: “I am looking forward to seeing all the different designs that children across Ipswich will come up with.
“I would also like to say a big thank you to Dial Lane Books, who have kindly donated book vouchers for the finalists.
“I look forward to announcing the winner in their shop later this month and good luck to all the children entering.”
Entries can be submitted via an entry form, which can be found here. Completed forms can be scanned and email to jack.abbott.mp@parliament.uk or sent by post to Jack Abbott, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA.
The competition closes at midday on Friday, November 22 and the winner will be announced at a special event the following Friday.
