Suffolk former Microsoft employee founds iwantmore.ai to help small to medium-sized businesses with AI

A former Microsoft employee has launched a consultancy firm to help introduce small or medium-sized businesses in East Anglia to artificial intelligence.

iwantmore.ai hopes to ‘transform’ the way firms, both in Suffolk and further afield, approach AI and aims to make the technology accessible and actionable.

The firm is working with businesses in Ipswich, Diss and Cambridge but plans to extend its services to the entire East of England.

It was founded by Craig Bird, who used to work for Microsoft as an AI specialist.

Mr Bird, of Stowmarket, said: “We believe that AI isn’t just for tech giants - it’s for every business that wants to do more with less.

“We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and demystify AI, providing insights and strategies that fit their specific goals.

“Our mission is to empower SMEs with the tools and confidence they need to grow and succeed in an AI-driven world.”

Mr Bird said the team were looking for an office and felt Suffolk and East Anglia seemed ‘untapped’ when it came to tech firms.

He said the firm aimed to differentiate itself from other AI companies by focusing on small to medium-sized businesses with an emphasis on practical and hands-on AI guidance.

This could include helping them understand how AI could increase efficiency or creating a roadmap for adoption.

It also plans to offer training programmes so businesses can thrive with AI, Mr Bird added.
