Orwell Bridge incident sees fire service called after vehicles become trapped in high tidal water




Six fire crews have been sent to underneath the Orwell Bridge in Ipswich after a 'number of vehicles' became trapped in high tidal water.

The fire service are on the B1456 and the road is temporarily closed.

Motorists are being told to avoid the area.

A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said there were no reported injuries.
