Coastguard rescues person from boat which became stuck on mud in Pin Mill Road Chelmondiston

A person has been rescued by the coastguard after a boat they were on became stuck on mud on a waterway in a Suffolk village.

Several fire crews, an ambulance and coastguard were called to the incident at 3.50pm in Pin Mill Road, Chelmondiston.

The firefighters were stood down and the coastguard carried out the rescue.

The incident was resolved at 5.23pm.
