Sandy Lane, Barham, near Ipswich, crash involving bus and car sees person taken to hospital




A person has been taken to hospital after a crash near Ipswich yesterday.

Emergency services, including police, fire, paramedics and a critical care team from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) were alerted to Sandy Lane, Barham, at the junction with Norwich Road, at about 3.04pm yesterday.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police confirmed the crash involved a car and a bus.

Paramedics attended three people at the scene, with one being taken to hospital for further treatment.

There were injuries but they are not believed to be serious or life-threatening, a spokesman for SARS said.

The route reopened at 5.13pm.
