Plans lodged for additional staff parking at Budgens in Great Blakenham, near Ipswich

Plans have been lodged for more staff parking at a village convenience store.

The proposals would see five new bays built at the Budgens, in Moses Walk, Great Blakenham, to allow for existing spaces to be used by more customers at what was described as a ‘busy and well used’ store.

If approved a triangular patch of land by Moses Walk would be converted.

The applicant said the new area would not impact the convenience store, nor the existing car park in any way.

The proposals will go before planners soon.
