In today’s podcast, drivers have become stuck in flood water as heavy rain causes chaos across the county.

Roads in several Suffolk towns have been become immersed in flood water, with Highways having urged motorists to find alternative routes.

The leadership team at a Haverhill school have been accused of endorsing a ‘culture of cheating’ during a professional conduct hearing.

The meeting. which started yesterday and continued today, is looking into the conduct of Andrew Prestoe, Howard Lay and Pat Stalker during their time working at Samuel Ward Academy, between 2010 and 2016.

An interim plan to restore community use of a Sudbury school-owned sports facility has been agreed.

Ormiston Sudbury Academy confirmed it will allow the community to once again utilise facilities at the Sudbury Sports Centre and the adjacent Curve arts centre in Tudor Road, with specific details to be finalised.

And work has begun on the Gull Wing bridge in Lowestoft, with council chiefs insisting the scheme is monitored closely and remains on time and on budget.
