Podcast: Popular music producer’s inquest adjourned and mother calls for more support for grieving families

On today’s podcast we have the latest from the inquest into a popular music producer who died while on a scuba diving trip in Australia in 2019.

Karl Bareham, originally from Bury St Edmunds, was on a diving trip off the coast of New South Wales on September 24, 2019, when he indicated he was having problems with his equipment.

Shortly after he stopped moving, and despite resuscitation efforts, he died, Suffolk Coroner’s Court was told earlier today.

The inquest into the 37 year old's death, known for his work with Canadian singer songwriter City and Colour, will continue on October 20.

A mother, whose daughter died from a rare heart condition three weeks after becoming a mum for the first time, and whose son took his own life less than a year later, has called for more support for grieving parents and siblings.

And a man who was found unconscious in a Newmarket street remains in hospital more than three weeks since he was set upon in a late night attack.
