LEARN MOREA man was arrested after allegedly making a racially aggravated comment towards a shop worker in Ipswich last week.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident, which happened at Coes Newsagents in Thoroughfare at about 10.10am, when a man went into the shop and had a conversation with a member of staff.
He is said to have made a racially aggravated comment towards them and acted in a confrontational manner.
Officers arrested a 39-year-old man in the town a short time later on suspicion of a Section 4 public order offence and he was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
He was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.
