Police arrest three men in connection with drug dealing offences after searching property in Ipswich's Edgeworth Road




Three men have been arrested in connection with drug dealing offences after a property in Ipswich was searched this week.

Police searched the property on Edgeworth Road on Wednesday and arrested three men who were there on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said: "Police recovered clingfilm and packaging consistent with suspected class A drug preparation in the living room along with a mobile phone.

"A search of the three males recovered a quantity of cash on each of them, while a quantity of suspected class A drugs was also recovered."

The three men were all arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

A 20-year-old and a 22-year-old were both released on police bail pending further enquiries, to answer on May 18, while a 49-year-old man was released under investigation pending further enquiries.
