Police arrest two men in connection with drug offences in Ipswich after searching man on Riverside Road

LEARN MORETwo men have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs in Ipswich.
It comes after police detained a 33-year-old man for a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act on Riverside Road yesterday evening at about 9.30pm.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Police also searched a property that the man was seen leaving and discovered a second man and a number of suspected wraps of Class A drugs and multiple mobile phones.
A 20-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
Both were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where they currently remain.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact Ipswich Police on 101 quoting crime reference 37/19423/21.
