Suffolk Police called to incident at Ransomes Europark in Ipswich

Police have confirmed they have been called to a major Suffolk retail park, with reports on social media suggesting they may be attending an incident involving a container lorry.

A police spokeswoman said they were attending an incident at Ransomes Europark in Ipswich and the ambulance and fire service were also in attendance.

The fire service was called at 10.46am, with one crew attending from Ipswich East.

Suffolk Police have since confirmed they have made immigration arrests after 13 people were found inside a HGV at Ransomes Industrial Estate.

On Facebook one witness said he saw at least 20 police cars and multiple ambulances.
