Police issue CCTV image of man after designer glasses stolen from Boots shop in Ipswich

Police have shared a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft of designer glasses from an Ipswich shop.

Officers said the incident happened between 3pm and 5pm on Friday, November 27 in the opticians at Boots in Tavern Street.

They said a man went into the shop and tried a number of designer frame styles. He then returned and stole a number of them.

The suspect is described as about 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing a light-coloured coat at the time of the incident.

Officers want to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image as they believe he might be able to help with the investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man, or who has relevant information, is asked to contact Suffolk police by calling 101, quoting crime reference 37/69082/20.
