Ipswich pub The Man on the Moon to shut next week for six-figure refurb

An Ipswich pub will debut a new look next month as it prepares to close for a six-figure refurbishment.

The Man on the Moon, in Palmcroft Road, will shut its doors on Monday to allow for renovations to take place.

When it reopens, punters will be able to make use of an enhanced sports area and upgraded TV screens throughout the venue plus other upgrades to the inside of the pub.

Its outdoor space will also see a refresh, offering a larger area for customers to enjoy.

Due to the investment, Greene King is looking to recruit more staff for the Man in the Moon.

It is looking for bar staff, chefs and a team leader.
