Christchurch Park fireworks display, hosted by 11th Ipswich Scout Group, to dazzle audiences this November
A popular fireworks event will return to a park in Ipswich this November.
Costing more than £25,000 and featuring a bevy of street food, bars, live music across three stages and a roaring bonfire, the annual Christchurch Park fireworks display will dazzle audiences on November 4.
Alchemy Fireworks will choreograph the display to chart-topping hits, while the event is organised by the 11th Ipswich Scout Group.
Among the musicians attending are Ipswich-based Afterdrive, alongside pop singer Amy Allard.
Lauren Jennifer will bring her blend of country, rock and blues to the show, while local band RUKUS, Chelsea Francis and young singer Harry Martin will also take to the stage.
This will be the 51st event.
The 11th Ipswich Scout Group has hosted the display nearly every year since 1972 – only missing out 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for the group, and local charities, since it launched.
Tickets for the event will go on sale on October 2.
Early birds can get the tickets for last year’s price of £9.95 per adult and £7.95 per child.
Tickets sold after October 23 will cost £10.49 for adults and £8.49 for children.
Gates open at 6:00pm, with the fireworks display set to kick off at 8pm, running through until about 10pm.
