Ipswich residents enjoy some of the best weather conditions in the UK, says new research

Residents in a Suffolk town are enjoy some of the best weather in the UK, according to new research.
The research, carried out by Utility Bidder, has revealed the top 10 areas of the UK where residents experience the best weather conditions – with Ipswich in second place.
After analysing sunshine and rainfall over the last 30 years, researchers gave the town a ‘weather score’ of 9.25/10, finishing closely behind first-place Southend-on-Sea with a score of 9.86.
In the UK, Ipswich has the fourth fewest millimetres of rainfall and the fewest days of rainfall.
It also ranks sixth for the most hours of sunshine.
Burnley and Manchester were named the UK areas with the worst weather conditions after receiving a weather score of 0.2/10.
