Residents of Purdis Farm near Ipswich warned as at least five incidents of theft from a vehicle or vehicle interference are reported

Residents in an East Suffolk parish have been warned by police after several incidents of theft from a vehicle or vehicle interference in the area.

Officers have said Purdis Farm, near Ipswich, has seen five suspected crimes of this type in the last week alone.

A spokesperson for Ipswich Police urged residents not to leave items on display in vehicles and to check they are secure when left.

They said residents should report any suspicious activity to them.
