Revealed: All the General Election candidates standing in Suffolk, including Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Lowestoft, Central Suffolk and West Suffolk





The full list of candidates standing in the General Election for the eight Suffolk constituencies has been announced.

Parliament was dissolved just over a week ago and residents will take to the polls on July 4 to select their MP for the next five years.

Eight seats are up for election following some constituency changes and residents should register to vote by midnight on Tuesday, June 18.

On the day, polling stations will be open between 7am and 10pm — all voters must show a valid form of photo ID.

Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket:

- Peter McDonald (Lib Dem).
