Sports Direct and GAME officially open at old BHS site in Butter Market, Ipswich

Sports Direct has officially moved into its new home in Ipswich town centre.

The sportswear chain opened at the old BHS unit, in Butter Market, today.

It is joined in the old unit by Flannels – which opened in October – alongside Evans Cycles, GAME and USC, all managed by Frasers Group.

Sports Direct was operating out of the old H&M building in Tavern Street since its Carr Street outlet shut earlier this month.

Work at the building has been ongoing since July and the unit is 25,000sqft.
