Severe A14 delays after police deal with two crashes near Wherstead and Sproughton outside Ipswich




There are severe delays on the A14 outside Ipswich after officers attended two separate crashes this morning.

Police were called at 7.50am to reports of a four-vehicle collision on the major route eastbound just before the Wherstead offslip near junction 56.

Officers remain at the scene and no injuries have been reported.

Police were also called at 7.55am to a two-vehicle collision on the A14 eastbound between Sproughton and Great Blakenham.

The road has been cleared and there are no injuries.

According to the AA traffic map, there are queues on the A14 from Washbrook to Wherstead and from Claydon to Sproughton.
