Severe delays on A12 between Dedham and East Bergholt near Ipswich after vehicle fire

There are severe delays on a major Suffolk route this morning.

According to the AA traffic map traffic is queueing for four miles on the A12 northbound between B1029 at Dedham and B1070 at East Bergholt, near Ipswich, following a vehicle fire.

One lane is closed but two vehicles have been moved off the carriageway with police in attendance.

Two crews from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene.
