Dog rescued after falling 20ft at Alton Water Visitor Centre in Sutton, near Ipswich

A small dog was rescued after falling 20ft into a reservoir.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident at Alton Water Visitor Centre in Stutton, near Ipswich, at 1.23pm yesterday.

One crew was sent to the scene and they used a short extension ladder to rescue the animal from the dry floodgate area.

The dog was successfully rescued by 1.56pm.
